The Explorer 1 makes a lot of sense

The only "Beef" I have with the version from this period is the short minute hand and and perhaps the white gold 3-6-9. My updated version from 2017 looks just a bit better I think.
This doesnt exclude it yet though. Thinking..Thinking...!!

So far I have given 9 various Rolexes to my children and grandkids on their graduation. Always with the stipulation that the watches stay in the family and can be traded around among them. It has worked well for us.
