Very nice Mr Baron .....I would like to know...................

2 things I would like to point out here, why is the Vintage Rolex forum deleting post's like this it is a valuable information we all still like to learn and this subject needs to be addressed.

Also there is someone here who is owed a massive apology the way his watch was set about by dealers and there £100 machines.

This is what was written by someone I had a lot of time for.

There is big money involved in what we do here, and its difficult to divorce personal feelings from this however if we look at this from a rational scientific POV it really does not matter who owned the watch or who consigned it but TRUTH IS TRUTH

TRUTH IS TRUTH .........LMFAO  so why was a certain picture of a watch put on a instagram post and lied about taking pictures when a Geiger machine was used wrong and used in a way to show there was no radium why ?
I will tell you why for your own personal gain as dealers and to deceive collectors and peoples property which you do not own, or was it because you were not selling the watch, have you heard of another agenda ? Yep its called money !!!!!!!

Any of you defending this watch ask yourself this now that this information is out there, would it change your mind about the watch or affect what you pay for it etc, the reason for this forum is to let buyers and collectors be informed. There is very little public info available about the intricacies of these watches and there needs to be a platform where we can exchange ideas and information....................

That brings us to the subject of the 6200 mentioned here. I arrived on the first day of previews and armed with my loupe and Geiger counter eager to examine all the lots I was interested in. I am a firm believer in the quote SCIENCE DOES NOT LIE etc etc.......... when the Geiger was put up to the watch the reading was 0.11 uSvh mind you a typical 6200 from my experience has somewhere around 3+ that is a difference of 27x the 0.11 is basically a ZERO reading even if there was a crumble of lume on the dial it would register something much higher, this tells me there is no radium and its basically re lumed and removed etc etc.......

LMFAO............SO NOW IT SEEMS TO ME SOMEONE LIED HERE BECAUSE WE ALL SEE THE VIDEO AND PICTURES HERE REMEMBER WHAT YOU SAID
"SCIENCE DOES NOT LIE " WELL SOMEONE IS TELLING PORKY PIES HERE, SOMEONE  USED THE MACHINE WRONG AND IT LOOKS THAT THEY USED IT IN A WAY TO MAKE THE WATCH WRONG .......WHY ?
TO LET BUYERS AND COLLECTORS KNOW .....KNOW WHAT ? THAT GOOD WATCHES ARE BAD ON YOUR SAY SO WITH YOUR SILLY MACHINES?
I DONT SEE OTHER RESPECTED DEALERS WRITING THIS OR DOING THIS SO WHY ARE YOU ? BIG QUESTION WHY? WHY ALSO YOU SEEM TO BE DEFENDING A CERTAIN INDIVIDUAL ?

SO OK WHAT YOU ARE SAYING HERE IS YOU WERE ARMED WITH YOUR LOUPE AND GEIGER COUNTER YOU SOUND LIKE YOU ARE JOHN WAYNE DID YOU HAVE YOUR HAT AND YOUR HORSE IN GENEVA WITH YOU  ( so now your eyes are bad as well ) YOU SAY THERE WAS NO RADIUM ON THE DIAL THERE WAS A ZERO READING 0.11 WELL I SAW THE VIDEO ON VRF AND ITS STILL ON THERE CLEARLY SHOWS THAT THERE WAS RADIUM ON THE DIAL AND A HIGH READING YOU SAY X27 WELL THAT WAS ABOUT RIGHT THEN,.
NO WONDER YOU DONT WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT ANYMORE YOU GOT IT WRONG ADMIT IT AND SAY SORRY .......SHAME ON YOU AND YOUR FRIENDS.

i was one of the lucky collectors every year I get an invitation to view the watches in Monaco from Christies myself and a very well known Italian collector, we look at all the lots and I have to say with my eyes and this time you got it wrong.
