No it didn't wear (too) big (to me). Not saying it's a small watch though because it does has a lot of wrist presence. But if one is looking for a non conspicuous watch Rolex is the wrong address anyway.
Not sure if 42mm will fit me well, but in my opinion a very strong offering from Rolex. The value proposition is very, very good - annual calendar GMT tool watch for less than USD 15,000.
What's with that white gold bezel? Other than the obvious marketing strategy, doesn't make any sense, IMHO. Wouldn't a hardened stainless or tungsten carbide bezel for this watch be a more appropriate material. One could surmise that the specialized bezel...
I like the useful complications. Perhaps I will acquire the steel version someday. Nevertheless I'm very happy - and relieved! - I didn't pull the trigger on the much more expensive WG version (black dial with white ring) last year... Best, Thomas
