Ending the year with the SPB147!
This is my first foray into Seiko divers (having had Grand Seiko’s before) and I have to say I am very pleasantly surprised! This is a good looking watch and very good value for money in terms of build quality. Decent bevelling and design of the case and fits very comfortably. The silicon strap is nice and supple too. Closest in price range, I have had the BB Burgundy before and the BB58. Whilst you can tell straight away the higher quality of the BB such as from the bezel alignment, signed crown, bezel “shape” etc, at less than half the price of the BBs, the SLA147 is a winner!
I have been very fortunate in my life and have been able to afford a few “high end” pieces in my collection; but am really enjoying this Seiko diver! The brown dial and gold colour makers really suit it. Well done Seiko!

Chi Kai
