I’m a nerd.
Yes i admit, i’m a nerd ... a Seiko-nerd apparently.
I’ve been lurking at Rolex, JLC etc .... but never had the courage to even spend 10 or more K on a wristwatch 😟.
I used to have a few Seiko more than 30 years ago but they all vanished for some starnge reasons.
Then suddenly 5 years ago i was at an airport and checked out some cool quirky Seiko watches. A blue 50th anniversary beast called PROSPEX aka turtle catche my eye and i was the proud owner of a very very affordable mechanical dive watch.
Two days later .... i already had a second Tuna 😁 ..... immediately I realized this could end badly, even for my bank account.
So since then i only bought 4 or 5 more Seikos but the search is more fun than owning a watch, except for my latest acquisition, the Emperor 😁 ( the middle one).
PS. If someone’s interested in the Longines LLD no date , i might be interested in a Grand Seiko 😂.

I ‘m always very envious about that climate.
We often skip the (dog)walk because of the cold and wet, on your pics all i see is sun, cars and bikes ... in the sun 😳

Although the last couple of years they’re asking high prices for certain models ... but still most of them are very very affordable.
Can’t blame you. At one point, while wearing a Seiko, i thought to myself why was i spending 10x on a rolex or a panerai..
Not to mention they feel great on the wrist like an old favorite tshirt esp the turtle! So the temptation is really there to just leave the damn thing on (nt)
