However, when Citizen offers +5 / -5 seconds in regular series, and has done limited editions at +1 / -1 second per year, I wonder if Grand Seiko needs to raise their bar...

And readjusting the watch on odd months or daylight savings changes means that leveling of accuracy is irrelevant anyway … They’ve also strengthened the motor so the hands don’t wobble, made the date change instantaneous, revised the adjustment of hours s... 

I have been eyeing one citizen with their 1 second a year movement in titanium preferably.

On the other side though, The Citizen brings a perpetual calendar, and titanium too. I'm happy to have both,
