I was surprised by how a strap change could significantly alter the look of a watch..
As what JC Biver had said in a Hodinkee video (with regard to the AP Royal Oak Offshore): "When you take the bracelet away, the look of the case becomes more obvious, and stronger, than when you have the bracelet".
