Wanting a dial from model A, hands from model B, movement from model C...Sadly for most of us such level of customization is not possible but I have on multiple occasions considered buying two watches to make my own franken (starting with Panerai).

The opaline, almost satin-finished dial, can seem a bit bland, especially as opposed to a black dial. But I find this color and texture very faithful to the traditional Japanese aesthetic. I hope at least one of your two wishes will end up being fulfilled...
