SLGH021 - A new E9 global limited edition since 2020

For watches and wonders Grand Seiko have released this stunning limited edition E9 model. The last time they did this was in 2020 with the Superman to commemorate the new movement (In 2022 they released a 44GS version but that isn't E9). Man.. this dial is so nice, and the gold clasp as well.

The case is in ever brilliant steel and is one of the few watches releases in steel this year. I sincerely hope that Grand Seiko ditch 316L entirely as the brightness and feel of ever brilliant is well... ever brilliant!

Heavily textured as seen by most of these high beat models, yet the printing is perfectly crisp and sits flat on the dial, just like the white birch.

I am disappointed to not see blued screws on the movement as they did it with previous LE releases but it's understandable.

I've never found the need for it with my White Birch

watches without a fine adjust capability can be made to fit me decently, some perfectly. But some that only have half link options have left me with the options of sloppy loose or slightly tight (which means rarely if ever worn). My North American ltd ed ...

The color and texture are quite attractive

I am less convinced about the poor use of font types, especially on the bottom 2 lines. The indices look a bit fat and could be more elegant. Also if they could slim down the case, clasp and bracelet they could expand their audience a bit more.

Gorgeous watch with small flaws

Not sure if the gold accents are needed on the dial and how the blued second hand works with the green dial. Other than that, it looks lovely.
