I think if they took the snowflake dial/hands/indices and put it in the new case with the new spring drive movement, it'd be pretty unbeatable.
I really like it! Love that new movement and the new case with 22mm lug width. It has great presence on the wrist!
I recently passed getting the new manual wind spring drive as I did not like the 19mm lug…this one is a winner

I’ve always dislike the thickness of the GS models but that WB was quite thin and felt perfect ...
So this model is not exactly identical...

This one is spring drive and the Birch is mechanical.
The Birch is also thinner and the case shape is a bit different. The Birch sits very flat on the wrist. The bracelets may be slightly different.
The dial & movements are stunning
I do not like the new hour hand or markers. As far as I know, it's sold out, which is quite something for a $8k+ watch "limited" to 2021 units.
GS just released *another* blue dialed watch
It's the GS boutique limited SBGA469. Details can be found on the site but I think it could cannibalize the SLGA007. I like the SBGA469's hands and markers a lot more. ...
