The 1944 Superior Shaped Seiko Movement
Here's an unexpected treasure in a watch I found for Mrs C - the Hi-Beat, Superior Chronometer (high accuracy) 1944 movement, for that one lady in a million who cares to have an accurate, water-resistant watch. 
Gold insert in the back of the case, ala Grand Seiko of the same era.
Where do they fit the 23 jewels!? Note O-ring in the caseback groove for sealing against intrusion by water, perfume, hair spray, etc.
Comparison in size to my men's King Seiko version of the same era.

That tells the watchmaker this screw has left-hand threads so it doesn't become undone as it is under pressure from the mainspring
so you turn it opposite to remove & replace

Balance was dirty and it didn't run so I had to remove and clean it. With great trepidation! Soaking in the solvent Drying in the wood chips (special watchmaker sawdust) Blowing off the chips and voila it's clean again. Running again. Comparison of size. ...
