TimeOut

.... and here is a blue streak!

Somewhen last year, my better half asked me to come to the dog training area, to take some pictures of her training our two little guys. I did as instructed:

But then, I heard that engine noise from a distance: not that light humming sound typical for the small engines, powering Cessnas and Beechcrafts, and not the loud sound of the Turboprop liners, with the faint whistle of their turbines, but a deep growl, dangerous, very dangerous ....

I am a good husband, and without a moment's hesitation obey the orders given to me by my wife. But I am also a man, and men have a reactive mechanism firmly implanted in our genetic code, that makes us helplessly staring at anything with a loud and deep engine sound; no chance, every man has to look up, when he hears something like that in the air.

So I saw something approaching lowly above the trees:

What a sight!!!!

Fortunately, the Red Bull planes collection is flown frequently, so the sight of a B-25 at houseroof height is not uncommon. More often we see the big DC-6 liner above the town, but you have to be lucky to catch the Corsair, or the Huey Cobra.

Regards,
Marcus
