Bob's been an active guy his whole life. Being restricted to his bed and couch, unable . . .

 

. . . to walk freely much less work on cues, has got to be frustrating.  He needs to recover physically to get back to his old self mentally.


The larger point of this thread is that it's best to tackle debilitating conditions earlier than later.  Not that I'm a medical expert, but my sense is that at least recovery would've been easier had surgery been performed years prior.
