There's all kinds of cool climbing at Joshua Tree. We use to go up there on the weekdays and hit Morning Thunder at the Grotto. Illusion is a great mult-pitch. Tried several 5.11's but it was tough! Now you make me want to dig out all my gear and go climbing!
