I think the Lamy 2000 is a great option for every day use. It’s a piston filler, so it holds more ink than most converters. The cap is not a twist-off, so quick access. It posts easily and snaps on securely. I have the medium nib as well as the fine nib. I would go medium since the fine is too picky about how you hold it. I have the macrolon (black) finish, which is less pricey than the stainless ( champagne color).
