Floor Globes
I have found myself interested in floor globes recently and am now considering one for my home office. There are many options (illuminated, non-illuminated, antique ocean, blue ocean, etc.). I was initially interested in getting one with a diameter of 32" until I saw the prices. I have now scaled back my expectations to a 16" globe. Do any fellow Purists also share an interest in floor globes? If so, what do you have?

Floor Globes are really interesting.
My father gave me his floor globe that he purchased in the 1970's, it was produced in the 1950's. It is a great conversation piece, the world has changed quite a bit since this one was created. Will post some pictures tomorrow.

May I suggest that you check out a 20" globe that recently grabbed my attention? It is made by National Geographic Society. Best of luck!
