We just returned from our wonderful vacation to Paris. Traveling with our daughter and living in a Parisian apartment actually made trip unique as we experienced life as a local for a week. There was less museum or shopping but more quality time strolling...

While strolling to musee d' orsay, we bumped into this place..but we just didn't have the energey or time to hit this...next time!...  

You are making me reminisce about Paris. Honestly, during all of my visits of Paris, I have never eaten anything that I thought was very good. This will be a nice alternative to eating Baguettes and Laduree's club sandwich for my next trip to Paris. Thank... 

Most of our meals in a sit down sitting were pretty good but my daughter being a Chinese baby, we had to hit some Asian places. And man, we were disappointed. They made Panda Express seem like gourmet.

. . . the unusual technique employed by the chef in the photo where two slices are layered on top of a fillet of lobster. Normally, one would cut an avocado in half, but the chef employed an angled cut for aesthetic effect. Like they say, "the devil is in... 

Art, we were too busy eating and drinking to appreciate the art in the meal. It would have been even more speical if you were there to share your observations!

You captured the light and spirit of the city very well. Food looked fabulous, but French cheese is my gastronomic Achilles heel. That plate looked incredible.

Your photos are really great. I am trying to compare the quantity of food served, the sum of several small portions. Where I live when we go out for a fancy meal it is a BIG steak or a 4-5 pound lobster. No wonder I do not feel good after dinner. Thanks f...

there is just so much character in Paris...we truly left our hearts there... just too bad our schedules and family commitments didn't allow me to explore the WIS side in Paris... definitely a return trip...we are envious of you my friend... We just receiv...

Faisal...I too wish all meals are to be enjoyed and savored over 4 hours like this one..but it as a tourist..it was just not possible every meal that we were there...or we would be unable to fit in the seats coming back home...LOL
