at the J.B Johns aluminum 1911 bushing tool. The tool is made specifically for the 1911 handgun. I think this is a good opportunity to review the 4 basic rules of gun safety. You might have heard these before or a similar version, and I like to frequently...

how often do you need to take it apart to clean it..? You'll have to post a masterclass one day on full dissasembly, cleaning and reassembly for us Great thread, Andy.

I think these threads are fun, and the cool thing is we all get a look at other hobbies and interests. I clean my guns every time I shoot them. That is not entirely necessary on something like the 1911, which is a real workhorse, but most gun enthusiasts ...
