Iggy’s at the Regent
Iggy’s has been at the Regent since 2004 and is an intimate space designed to showcase the food. We sat at the long bar where we had glimpses into the kitchen. The service was excellent and engaging – so many high-end establishments can be a little too mechanical in their presentation these days. At Iggy’s, however, the warmth and enthusiasm of the staff for the food shon through.
So here is the menu and a few of the memorable courses:
Amuse bouche
Vegetable Garden - all cooked different ways plus a few surprises
Coddled egg with potato, parmesan and truffle
Lobster with oats, gizzard (soft!) and fennel
Wagyu with daikon
French toast with sabayon, icecream and chocolate

Au Jardin in the Botanic Gardens
Lunch at Au Jardin was in a beautiful setting amongst the tranquil tropical gardens. An oasis amongst the humid greenery. A pleasant lunch, but nothing very inventive. I will let the images speak for themselves....

of myself... I'm Singaporean and have not been to 3/4 of the food places you have been to.... but truth be told, I'm very much an eat to live person... Glad you have a good time here.
