Iperespresso
I've had the nespresso and the iperespresso systems, as well as the Jura automatics. For me, the iperespresso is the best. There was a Time Magazine article almost two years ago about the system. The main drawback is that you only can use Illy, but I like Illy so it's not a problem. Illy was a little bit too oily for my Jura, but the Iperespresso makes a very consistent shot.

my problem is with the illy pods...
as stated above, they're not individually packaged; and i've read that once the whole can is opened all contents have to be used within 2 weeks... there's no way i'd drink that much coffee.

I'm not sure that's true, but even still, there are only 21 capsules that for optimum flavor make only about 1.5 ounces per shot. I usually use two or three capsules at a time, no problem. I guess cost would be my biggest objection. Greg
