TimeOut

It is only two years ago and I cannot remember .....

how I found PuristSPro, but it is quite safe to assume that I was Googling for some additional information on my recently accuired G.O.

Stumbling across different fora it took me some time to realise that one of the
reappearing places was different. It was equally the tone and the content that grabbed my attention. So I started reading and lurked for about one year. Faced with all the wealth on display I wondered if I was worthy to join in with my very modest collection. How stupid that was and how you prove me wrong! Thank you a lot for all the friendship I found here. Now I am working on meeting more of you in person. My first experience with real life PuristS in Paris would have been worth the journey even I had walked there!

PuristS changed a lot for me. I am not alone any more with my craziness. In my surroundings unfortunately nobody shares the passion. (My fiancee at least accepts it and understands what it means to me.)
I learned very much about brands and watches that I had no interest in before; not only from reading here but also from researching by myself. I feel challenged to contribute something worth reading from time to time, which is not easy given the wealth of knowledge gathered here.

And yes, without PuristS I would certainly not wear a vintage Memovox today (thanks to Vlad), and Jocke got me hooked onto the Sport Evo (even if this is owed not to PuristS but to his private web site.).

So thank you everyone for all the fun encountered here and for giving my brain damage such a friendly HoMe!

Gratefully, (grateful reference to Art intended)
Martin
