Part I: Traveling PuristS!
One of the highlights from this year's vacation was meeting AndrewD and AlexSunrise in person. They traveled from their respective homelands to visit the LA-based PuristS this summer. We had so much fun together! I will not soon forget all the good times, good food and watch talk! 
I met up with AndrewD for a late breakfast, which we definitely needed to fortify ourselves for the day's activities! Andrew had eggs benedict and I had eggs with bacon/sausage. The hotel also had these weird juices they made on-site. I tried one with cucumber and citrus. It was very intriguing...
Bizarre juice! It tasted quite herbaceous. Not bad, but I'd prefer a smaller glass of it!
I LOVE mini anything, so this tiny Tabasco caught my eye.
Then after breakfast it was off to the vintage Omega store with Art, Alex, and Alex's sister, who is a delightful person and a Purist at heart! She put up with a LOT of watch geekery during this trip!

I like the moonphase display on this piece.
This is a familiar sight to many, I'm sure! Andrew's lovely Constellation.
The owner of the shop was wearing this timepiece. What a beauty!
My favorite piece in the store. I look at it each time I visit. I think the hands are not correct for this watch though. They seem newer and the hour/minute hands don't seem to match the second hand. I'm not sure, but I still like the watch!

Back from a busy summer!

Up until now, the weather's been perfect.
Yesterday was a bit too hot for me, but it's been great overall. I've been enjoying the season for sure! Looking forward to seeing you! Daos

Nice to see more pictures. That was my first breakfast in Oliverio at The Avalon and I went on to try their hangover cure the next day. That juice was even more bizarre, but you know, I think it worked! Andrew Watches over breakfast...

The Huntington Library and grounds ...

I think you would've enjoyed the Huntington.
We didn't even explore all the museum exhibits while there because we loitered in the gardens for too long. If you come and visit it'll be a good excuse for me to go again. Cheers, Daos
