d'odici ' designer ' desserts? Looks nice, has a pocketwatch theme, there's yellow.............how can I not like this? Can't wait to dig in! What the heck?!? I have to wait a day or two or three to eat this thing? I'm hungry now! Aaargh!!! -MW...  

But let me just say that real New York cheesecake from one of the Italian or Greek bakeries in Queens, New York, is the best on earth. Anyway, sounds like d'odici is the kind of cake you have to buy a few days in advance to enjoy with, like, Sunday dinner... 

Which bakery in NY, any specific one? I have had cheesecake from Junior's and it's insanely good. The d'odici is a souffle cake and its good but nothing spectacular. -MW

Ate a piece of it right away and then tried to save some for the next day.....didn't work, I just ate the whole thing a few minutes after the first piece. LOL! -MW

Hi DRMW, I've never had a d'odici cheesecake. Was it worth it? I wouldn't mind trying one. I wonder why they suggest aging the cheesecake by a day. Happy Holidays, ED-209

After waiting a day or two, how did it taste? Thanks for sharing, really wondering what is the inspiration behind the watch on this cake... I think a visit to Pasadena is necessary upon my next trip to Los Angeles.
