Hi Patrick,
i've heard that story too about ingesting the spiders, but rest assured these are fairy tails. I think i saw a program on our national television where some scientists assured us this doesn't happen. A spider will not crawl into a big snorkling humid mouth of a giant creature (and in my case with a bad smell ...LOL) .... .
