Shooting in low light would be the main feature
Since I avoid using flash as much as possible, and then really more for fill.
Since I shoot only in camera RAW and am pretty handy with Photoshop, I get pretty good results from my dinosaur.
Good lenses and, as you say, the brain behind the camera, make all the difference.

Thanks. Yes, I have tried all the tricks. Most work fine with AF fine adjustment, but a few don't. I have tried the service center with three different examples of the same model with the body, and essentially they told me to give up as the lens is an old...

With ample light in day time, very generally speaking, there wouldn't be much change. The difference with the body is the low-light sensitivity. Suppose you are to take photos in the party or barbecue after dark, or concert. You would be a lot more fortun...
