I have always been attracted to collecting and when I started working in the Fulton Fish Market in the 90's, I needed to carry a pocket knife to open boxes, cut straps, etc. I also had to use knives to fillet fish of course. At one point, I had a "folder" that had a cool "snap" if I flicked my wrist when I opened it. Since then, I started to look for knives that I could use every day that had that "snap" and as I drilled down into the hobby, and as my financial means allowed more, I built a collection that has grown. I even started to get into other "related" items, that are commonly referred to as "EDC" or "every day carry". This includes various pens, beads, and other small tools such as bottle openers and even "worry coins". Here is a shot of my keys from a few years ago:
