Darn! I missed it!!! ....

Dear friends,

I moved to a new home, which is the reason for my silence in the past weeks. I am still not through all the boxes cluttering the rooms, still trying to mount all the lamps, faucets, showers, cables, to get used to that silly digital control computer of the central heating, while after a brief spring break temperatures returned to freezing -16 degrees Celsius, with stormy gales.



To make things complete, I am suffering from a mild pneumonia andhabe barely slept since two weeks.

To make things worse, though, I completely missed the jump from February 28 to March 1 on my new perpetual!!! ;

To avoid the risk of banging it into doorways, scratching it against walls, or shaking it to death with the power drill, I safely stored my GMT Perpetual in the box, and wore a more "sportive" watch. Only now I realized that the end of February is that other "finest hour" for the perpetual, when it can demonstrate its virtues. Now I have to wait until next year, or I take the low road and simply simulate the switch ...
