Ulysse Nardin

new addition to collection

hi,

i'm currently in the process of cutting down my collection as i found it got a bit out of hand (Edit: I removed the reference to the auction house and specific auctions, as these are against the forum rules. M.H.)

my aim is to have a few watches instead of the huge amount i had. i've kept about 10 nice pieces none of which are UN's so not of any interest on this forum.

with the proceeds of the auction i intended to buy 2 special or unique pieces . i have a Freak ready to buy when i have the money which should be very soon, but in the meantime this little beauty came along. a Ludwig Perpetual in yellow gold. number 135 of 150 with all papers and box.

it is in mint condition and any defects in pic are reflection as you would expect from glistening gold.i think this is a beauty and an important piece of UN and watch history being the very first perpetual that is crown operated and can go back as well as forwards.

i think its a stunner, any one want to comment feel free.
