thanx for the nice comments on my Ludwig. just to upset you, i've put deposit down on a freak in private sale. will pay in full and collect wihin 2 weeks and will post pics when i get the oportunity.

to obtain these pieces of horological perfection has taken a long time and effort which first involved collecting 230+ watches of lesser value which are being auctioned shortly. the auction house are obviously happy they will sell well as they are advancing me the money to buy the freak. effectively i said, ' i'm selling to buy a freak so give me an advance to buy the one i want or i wont sell collection'.

my intention was to own 2 'unique' timepieces and the freak was always number 1 on my list. i had several others coming a close second like the V & C Mercator or AP star wheel, but the Ludwig came along at what i considered a very good price and after researching it decided that i could truly call the Ludwig 'unique' (and rare with only 150 of them).

i will eventually do pics and show my complete collection to anyone who wants to look.
