i bought it as i loved its looks despite usually being a big watch person. also the UN perpetuals are reknowned for their ease of use and this is the first, the most limited in production and ought to be the most famous of models although i notice that the gmt+- perp often gets far more publicity than the Ludwig. its actually quite hard to find anything on the net about this model. thanks again for the comments and if anyone can PM me with what they think its worth for insurance purposes i'd be grateful. i dont know if i can say how much i paid for it on the forum, but it wasnt much IMHO.
