I was originally looking for a Patek 2526 and came across this piece during my hunt which end up being a quarter of the price. I felt pretty lucky as I like this piece as much as I would have liked the 2526.

Isn't it fun to wear such a beatuiful example today of a gold watch from bygone days. When wearing this one, as well as others like it from other brands, you feel like you have something special on your wrist.

I am looking for vintage automatic V&C which sub-second.I guess your watch used caliber 498. And the caliber 1070, only appeared in the forum discussions and did not see any physical objects.
Yes that is caliber 498.....
Which was VC's first automatic movement that had a rotor. The 1070 movement is very rare to find as well.

The strap was purchased directly from VC. I don't remember the reference off hand, I'd have to look it up.
