is anyone here giving a nice watch to anyone this year? What would you like to get? In my family we don't tend to give such high ticket items at the holidays. But I can dream! I am a simple man with simple tastes: Photo from a pervious post by TimJackson ...

We don't pay tax for dreaming, do we? So here it goes: I'm dreaming that someone (Santa Claus?) gives me a Patrimony Traditionelle Skeleton Perpetual Calendar! Since it costs the same dreaming for one or for two, I also want the new Chronometer Royal 1907... 

I think Vacheron is really doing some tremendously beautiful designs at all different price levels and complications. . If I were asking for a watch, I would ask for the new platinum dial perpetual chrono with the breathtaking moondisc.

Hi Bill, We don't really give big watch gifts for the holidays...especially since with some harder to get items you just have to get them when they become available like a new SS Rolex Daytona. But I have had several items become available close enough in... 

Now that I've come out of my latke-induced stupor I'm ready to get back to important secular activities like buying watches...wanna come with me? I do hope to see you at some point in 2008. Bill

Hey Bill, Its actually been a while since I have been to our mutual local VC AD in Cambridge. I have been meaning to go in and see whats there, but just have not gotten around to it. I think the last time I saw you was at the IWC event with the watch maki...
