Vacheron Constantin

Vacheron Constantin is a brand I always want to love, but, this year, it's been difficult for me because I don't respond at all to the 270th anniversary Maltese cross signature pattern they've used on all the models. I personally see it as a very indiscre...  

The tourbillon, with the Maltese cross motif, is my favorite in the business along with the JLC Gyros. With that said, even though I don't dislike this new guilloche pattern, it isn't as attractive as many of their 'standard offering' dial configurations ... 

a case which is a bit too large for them, though. I think VC should take that into consideration. Thanks for chiming in, Filip!

For me, the new dial pattern works much better when there are more things happening there. For the time only with small seconds, it’s a miss. Thanks for sharing !

Similar feelings about the motifs. Also diameters could be 1-2mm less judging from the backsides.

The open face retrograde perpetual IS a brand new caliber. Vacheron has never made a perpetual with a retrograde date to this point. It’s a brand new model in fact.

for your vigilance and for correcting me! I think what got me confused is that this new caliber is a variant of the 2460 caliber used for the Complete Calendar Openface and, at 29 mm in diameter, it looks really small for the 41 mm case, as if it had been...

Your watch is ref. 47032/000P-9206 and is powered by Caliber 1126 QPRD , based on JLC 889 (if I found the correct information). It has leap year at 2:30 and the f ull year at 6 o'clock . The new ref. 4030T/000P-H054 is powered by Caliber 2460 QPR31/270 an... 

with nicer dials.

So, even if they are without a doubt much better than the 82172 (on which I really dislike the full pattern), I don't manage to warm up to them. Even to B, which I much prefer in its previous rose gold variant (ref. 6010T/000R-B638). Best, Emmanuel credit...  

but other times nice to have the variance. However, I do not like the Maltese cross motif. First, the brand name and Maltese cross are already there front center top. Why put it again? This is like certain fashion brands putting their logo all over the pl...
