Yes I understood your point but again with my eye and a loupe I prefer the VC's movement...
that is not even mentioning the case of both the Malte and CdV that I also prefer to the 5070.
I actually prefer the movement layout and finishing of the Duometre à Chronograph to either of these 2 and would put it against the Datograph as best in class of the 4 BIG manual wind chrono 🤷♂️
Of course this leaves out the Double split, Triple split, and possibly the Minervas 😉

I think the VC Malte Chrono and the newer Corne de Vache is equally finished, if not better than the 5070 (at least to me). I have looked at both extensively with a loupe and for me, I prefer the VC here

The platinum model is indeed awesome and I had a chance to choose it over this WG version...
but in the end I preferred the dial on the WG version hence my choice 👍 If the platinum model had the same guilloché or even a salmon dial I most definitely would have chosen it over this WG version
