You seem to be coming round to the idea......

..and I don't think you will regret it if you get it.

I don't have this specific watch but have 'handled' it and have the newer 47212.

I like, of the 47112;

- it's aVC and platinum, and by default rare and unusual (people will not be familiar with it)

- the moon disc is sublime

- it has rectangular push pieces

- it has a 'hunter' case back

- Movement finish is great (my opinion is that PP and VC at this level are similar...)

- the red accents make the dial more interesting still

- I find 38/39mm a perfect diameter and personally like chunky (hefty and with some depth) watches

- the lugs are cool

What don't I like?

- that I don't have it

Personally, even though I have similar / related watches... I would still like to add it.
