"short anchor escapement"

Hi Harry,
A "short anchor escapement" s new to me, which doesn't mean it doesn't exist, of course.
There are several standard escapement layouts for the Swiss anchor escapement. One of the big variations between the different standard layouts is where the axle of the anchor is placed in comparison with the diameter of the balance wheel. This also influences the position of the escape wheel pivot. As we can see in the movement photo the pivot of the escape wheel is under the balance wheel screws. This means that the escape wheel bridge must be under the balance wheel. On other movements the escape wheel pivot is outside the balance wheel and the corresponding bridge can then be above the balance wheel.
Maybe the "short anchor escapement" is their way of saying that the escape bridge is under the balance wheel.
That is just my conjecture 'though.
