Also, a bit of a beginner question here: when I googled ‘anchor escapement’ I got diagrams and information about an escapement similar to a verge escapement, commonly used in pendulum clocks. However, Walt Odets has an article here about the anchor escapement (link below) and to me this is what I know as the lever escapement. Are they actually the same thing? Am I getting my terminology confused? The reason I asked this question is because I assumed that a anchor escapement is different to the lever escapement which is used industry wide.
