Thats the achilles heal of the 195 case it seems, and the shot was after service too, not sure if a gasket would fit to the caseback.

Sadly, all the 195 cases seem to have this little hick up in the design and it is the only type that goes with the 818 movement for the JLC Galaxy. I'll be extra careful with the piece and vigilant from now on. I'll try and see a watch maker here in town, but there aren't a lot I'd trust to do even a gasket addition, I'd rather do it myself biggrin
The only positive is easy access to the movement to double check her every couple months.
I wish I had taken a caseback shot but the winding stem where that area is affected is visible and protected by the extra material on the stem, which itself is exhibiting that build up, when it seals up with the caseback it fits flush, the humidity got in regardless so there is something somewhere. Morale of the story is not to wear it in changing temperature conditions and avoid sudden temperature changes or anything that might have a humid effect on the piece.
I'll try and find a shot of another 195 case and see if I can't show it later.
