As we recover from our holiday festivities and focus on the upcoming New Years, one post on HoME reflected on a very common phenomenon...It is so easy to add watches to our collection but sometimes very difficult to wean. So for the last Wristscan of 2013...

You usually have an answer for everything! :-) The theme is difficult for some, easy for others. In the end, I'd love to see out of all your watches, which one would you give up if forced to chose. Best, Mike

and not be "turned off" by the theme. Actually I'm sort of happy that the topic is making everyone think...hence the "time of reflection" It is not really meant for those who sell or trade but for all... I am sure each of us have made a purchase that we'v... 

.....if someone asked me...."Is there any of your watches that you would not sell?", then my answer is very clear. I would sell any and every of my watches. But now let me clarify....watches are our hobby...our passion. But of course they come a long way ...

Too many theme kills the theme ! You obviously loose spontaneity from week to week. I like " theme " but punctually, for very precise opportunities. I don't know in advance what i will wear on my wrist the next day, sometimes even the same day !!! The " F...

I share a similar philosophy to you...i wear what I like. I spend a lot of time thinking about what watches in want to wear and what watches i need in my collection. I also spend time thinking about what watches i no longer want in my collection. Sometime...

In 2013 I flipped like there was no end, on my impossible quest to the perfect watch (yes, I know that this don't exists). Some, as samples that the ones that departed. 1) Red Speedmaster. Nice but I got bored quickly. 2) GP. Sometimes I cannot resist an ...

... sometimes, passion prevails - thus, logic is scattered away. And there is certain size of "portion" which each can allocate for the passion..... I wish to be in the position where I wouldn't have to sell any watch when want to buy another one..... but... 

without purchasing a Plat Dato from my AD. I thought that the watch was too top heavy as well. For a long time I wasn't sure if I made the right decision....I still don't but your comment regarding wearability and comfort is also one of my most important ... 

Gone but never forgotten ..... The weight of the PT950 was just too much for me. Felt like a paperweight on the wrist. Took away from the joy of the elegance of the timepiece for me.... I feel u , Ken ! No PT for me moving forward ! At least my wallet is ...
