Genta history

Interestingly Gerald Genta, the man, was involved with a number of iconic designs in the 1970’s, some of which, like the Royal Oak, are clearly credited and others where the links are more obscure. These include the Patek Philippe Nautilus, the Bulgari-Bulgari for Bulgari and I think some IWC and Vacheron Constantin designs. The man is now no longer directly involved with Gerald Genta, the company, but designs watches for his own company, Gerald Charles. Designers were not as lauded in the past as they perhaps are today.
