Interestingly Gerald Genta, the man, was involved with a number of iconic designs in the 1970’s, some of which, like the Royal Oak , are clearly credited and others where the links are more obscure. These include the Patek Philippe Nautilus, the Bulgari-B... 

Just doing my bit to kill that myth...Genta DID NOT design the Vacheron 222 sports watch. Credit goes to a young Jorg Hysek according to VC themselves.

Thanks for noticing. They are Hamilton ladies watch movements from the 1950’s. The one on my left wrist is a Cal. 757 and on my right a Cal. 761. Both 22 jewels. Only a WIS would notice, but the Cal. 757 is slightly better finished and has a screwed...

the name might be the same but the movement is different. very long technical and legal explainaton. its a good watch for the few pennies it cost me and i will review it at some stage. i did reply to your email so will send it again. best Graham
