Hello dear Seiji ! Thanks a lot for your clarification. It is always my big pleasure to read and view your wonderful posts with so much information and wonderful watches.

IΒ΄m very fond of themes related with history of diving, both scuba and hard hat since I was very very young around 1958 and have read a lot of books and magazine articles about that themes so I learned about the formation of the early military "frogmen" including Italians, Germans and of course the early UDT teams in the USA.
The early canteen watches you share are superb and of course I would love to have at least one of them in my collection. I also collect some vintage diving instruments used in the 1960's and later as I started sport scuba diving in the mid 1960's when I was a teenager.
You are right saying that Submariners with Explorers dials are expensive. In general all military Subs are expensive and those 3-6-9 dials are even more expensive both in the place you mention but I guess in any other source as well. You well say RR prices!! They are well beyond my financial possibilities to own them though of course I would love to have in my collection. Something similar happens with the Comex variants.
These Elgin, Hamilton canten and Bulova watches are superb. Regret to say I never had a chance to find one of them here in my hunting fields in Argentina. May be I will be lucky to find one when traveling abroad.
Thank you so much for your kind message and please keep those wonderful posts coming.
Best cordial regards, Abel
