Hi Mike ,curious and controversial…why not?
I suppose,it really boils down to what one intends to do with its collection….
Some enjoy the thrill of the chase and then let go with the same lighthearted attitude…others, ponder more and rarely dispose of their watches…
I tend to belong more to the latter….I only disposed of a very few watches…..I study a lot, enjoy the chase of what I really want to keep..I suppose I can sum it up as personal"quality over quantity.."
1)An IWC chrono white gold(I don't regret it) to found this….
which I then sold to achieve……..This one
so as you can see…a really nice chain…
I wish i could keep both!!!!I really do
2)A beloved ,controversial watch,a tortured love affair
helped me to get this...
but thats about it….
My current collection is pretty solid,I cannot think of any of my current watches that I would move…….except if something truly amazing would come by..but really they all have a specific place and theme in the collection…
Disclaimer:non of the above can qualify for this weeks ws…..as they will never be sold…..I just illustrated my collecting experience of the last few years…..
