All great choices for the weekend! I love the Speedy - an absolute classic. I’m always astounded by the accuracy of these modern Omega movements. Omega really landed a great deal when they purchased the rights to the Coaxial movement from George Daniels. ...

I love that vintage and very 70´s "TV" JLC. Would you believe I own one too? Lol! Yes, horological twins we are!! A GMT is always a great choice of course. Be it a vintage one or the modern ceramic you never go wrong with a Rolex GMT! Another nice choice ...

line, as you for sure you know, it hasn’t minute track. It loses some functionality and I see the dials a bit naked. Anyway, elegant pieces.

I wish you will enjoy both so much. It´s a shame Omega doesn´t offer the 1894 Homage in their present catalog. Hopefully they can issue a similar watch (with some slight change in the dial if they wish to make it different) for another celebration. It´s s... 

. . . when they made the 1894, so unless they pull the same move as with cal 321, it's unlikely we'll seen another Omega quite like the Homage. But I'd like to see Omega reissue classic models with modern co-axial movements so long as case sizes are ident...

The Principia is one of my favorites no doubt. For the longest while I was leaning towards the 1941 Remontoire, but in the end I opted for the beauty of the symmetry in this dial. I “scratched the Remontoire itch” with a couple of Langes (Zeitwerk and RL ...

Definitely 2 of my favorites for sure. I’m having a lot of fun these days with custom straps and the neutral color dials of both of these mean pretty much unlimited options.
