Thanks Thomas, this was part of the forestry that only sees sunlight for a few hours a day. The pic was taken mid afternoon and it still has dewdrops on it. There are some things about wales i miss. Best G

Indeed I am fascinated, and a cheaper way than getting a tourbillon ! Unfortunately, I do not own any Zeniths, but the wife does .. A couple more photos of the beast ! As u can see the protective wrapper was in place when I shot the watch. ...

. . . from the deck of the battleship USS California, but I think he uses it just for decoration, not for shafts or handles. Light, both physically and in terms of coloration, teak is extremely durable, and while we know it primarily as deck planking mate... 

That outside table that I use as a support/backdrop for many of my photos is teak. One of my favourite pieces of furniture because of the way it weathers. And it reminds me of long summer BBQ lunches and cold beer. :-) Cold and wet here at the moment. And...

I've probably taken 500 pictures of this but have only 46 in the album. They are taken in different environments with changing light. To shoot in daylight is probably the best, but not in direct sunlight. Best regards Anders ...
