Thanks for this great report
I was looking forward to it.
Agree on most points. It’s indeed strange that starting the chronograph is not as smooth as stopping or resetting it.
On the other hand ... a Daytona isn’t smooth either
If I could change one thing it would be the claps. It was unnecessary to make it look like a Rolex clasp. The bracelet has some similarities but than again the De Luca had a similar bracelet. Another difference is that the brushed outer links are also chamfered which isn’t the case with a Rolex bracelet. But then the clasp... they really took a Rolex lookalike.... would have been better if it looked a bit different
That aside I own the Daytona and chronomaster sport. And I can assure you I prefer the zenith. Those coloured subdials just give it an extra touch.
Wearing the black and ordered the white too. I mean, when you buy both you have to love and appreciate it 😉
Hoping this will be a game changer for zenith cause the do deserve it. I don’t think I’m aware of another brand with such a rich history that still seems to be so “undiscovered” by so many watch enthusiasts
