Nice to see someone actually using their perpetual calendars!  

My favourite complications.

I used to really like Perpetual Calendars. But now I realize, I don't keep them wound and thus, they're never indicating the right indications. I never owned a Lange though - with their one button advance everything. Maybe if I owned a Lange, I'd like Perpetual Calendars as much as you do!

Lovely piece indeed and not a surprise it getting a lot of wrist time. As for me, these days an empty wrist is more frequent than one with a watch on 🤷🏻‍♂️ A period I guess, will change again eventually 😊

I would feel a little uneasy without a watch on my wrist.

But I know exactly how you feel regarding the dato

I used to own the original Dato in Pt.

This one today: 

This one lately.

Just went through a period of considering parting with mine, wanted to trade it in for the white gold perpetual. I really could use a date function at work! Tried, but could not get myself to part with the Homage! The sum is more than the parts (from a dial side perspective). The 1815 black arabic numerals and slender long blue hands, the elegant center dial second hand with its discreet jumps, the smaller second hand smoothly sweeping along, the champagne dial. But, I can't get enough of the movement. The datomatik and some others are busier, but this movement of the Homage is so beautiful and interesting. Finally, after reading Walter Lange's brief autobiography "Revival of Time", having an homage to him in really inspiring. His life was one of hardship and survival that blossomed into something really special, for both him and his home of Glashutte.

It's a wonderful Lange.

And I'm enjoying this timepiece already for a while

but the Dato looks gorgeous, I must say.
And the caliber is such a masterpiece.

It has been in Lange spa in Dresden since Oct 2024 . I should get it back soon but no news yet.
