White gold or steel ?
Which of these two A. Lange & Söhne Odysseus appeals the most to you ?
- White gold ref. 363.068 / LSLS3633AD with a grey dial
- Steel ref. 363.179 / LSLS3635BA with a blue dial

The grey is attractive
But it’s the blue for me here, just because I prefer the color . The bonus is the alternating textures on the blue dial 👌🏻

Taking personal preference for dial color out of it...
...I would opt for steel. Lighter, more scratch-resistant, and cheaper. My only caveat is something like platinum or tantalum. I've always wanted one watch in that type of metal...
They haven't done it yet in these metal, but there's reasonable hope that they will eventually!

I prefer the white gold model,
but with a different strap. But I also have to agree with G07 that I don’t love this watch. I have never liked the dial layout and felt that Lange, which basically makes all their watches in precious metal, jumped on the steel sports watch with integrated bracelet bandwagon because they are so popular. I would rather have an Alpine Eagle.

I don’t know what the dial design is called but it looks incredible.
It's inspired by the iris of an eagle. So it's called iris pattern, I think.

I love blue — but here, the gray dial, with the texture, is very appealing. I would want to see both in hand.
I’ve seen steel, white gold and titanium (and the chrono)
but only behind a display window at W&W two years ago. So I haven’t been able to try one on unfortunately.
Based upon dials, I agree with you about the WG.
However I have never gotten my eyes around to this watch on a strap. I’m not fully there on the bracelet either, but it makes far more sense to me aesthetically.
And so, I would like the grey dial on a bracelet please !
Both are very very nice....I'm leaning towards the white gold because this deserves a noble metal.
