...to see that there is still so many people out there who are writing...and in a Filofax no less! We find these practices still alive and vibrant in Japan and hopefully also in Germany and many more before as people takes a calibrated respite from their digital screens and 'pads'! (and the Lange in this combo, austere in a very good way, is a perfect match). I have this same ebony Intuition.
I enjoy writing by hand, almost always with a fountain pen.

In a way it makes me feel more present here and now. The writing demands (in a kind and nice way) that. I often write draft by hand before writing on the computer. I find it makes it more concentrated. This Graf von Faber-Castell is a true pleasure to write with!
I do exactly the same--hand-written notes and then writing the manuscript on the computer. I observed that not only is this a delightful experience but that my recall of the materials is much better; in a notebook, sometimes unexpected connections could be made when notes superimposed on each other in the physical world too.
