The event was held on Thursday, March 10 - a day before the quake.  Why am I posting this now?  I guess I need some distraction. 
Hope you enjoy and feel the spirit.  It was like this before the day.  I have no idea how the boutique is now and hope everyone, everything is all right.

Now, today's main event - RL Tourbillon PLM, the real ones.  I tried to capture the inside detail as much as possible, so you may get tired of them.  Also, my apologies as these were taken by Lumix (P&S), not DSLR.

Disk stopped at half by pulling the crown.

On my wrist (6.5" or 165mm), may look big but not too big in person.

See-through.

Bonus - want to see the disk open and close in action?  How it works.  Disk appears on 6 o'clock and disappears on 12 o'clock.  The move is instant but when you reverse it, the move can be seen slow.  Interesting mechanism.




Did you enjoy?  Despite the first impression, without actually seeing it, I kinda like this T-PLM.  Well made and no as big as I thought in person.

Many, many thanks for this very informative pictures and video about the RLPM Regulator.

There are horrible pictures about the catastrophe in Japan emerging.

The whole world is with theire thoughts with the Japanese people and wishes everybody to go as safe as possible through these times.

Your photos have truly captured the Richard Lange Pour Le Merite well and in the right light. The platinum variant's dial color sometimes appears darker in some photos than it truly is.

Thanks for sharing photos from such an interesting event Ken! As usual, a lot of very special pieces with a Japanese Lange gathering, could never get bored of seeing all these beauties!

First of all, the whole world's thoughts are with the Japanese people at this terrible time -- I hope that you and yours remain safe, and am reminded how lucky we all are just to have the basics of life, let alone the wonderful watches we enjoy so much.

I really enjoyed and appreciated your thorough post!  As usual with your event posts, the watches on the guests' wrists are much of the fun.  That set of Datos was fantastic to see -- makes me regret just a little more passing on the Pisa a few weeks ago (although the RG version is nothing to sneeze at).  But it's the YG Dato that really caught my attention -- that is one beautiful watch!  Would love to see it in person some time, as it looks quite striking in your photos.  That baguette version also solves the problem of scratching the bezel
